At Nelly Creative Studios, each bespoke creation begins with a conversation, a meeting of creativity and craft

Each detail is meticulously finished and each stone is selected by Nelly. Each piece is crafted by master jewelers in New York City and is made to be enjoyed for many generations

The creation process

Consultation: a meeting of worlds where we discuss what is in your mind, what story you would like to say with the piece, what materials inspire you

Imagination is where it begins but we put it into the physical dimension

An initial consultation will consist of an any inspiration images, sketches or stories you have. Before speaking we will review all of this information

Sketch: After the initial consult, we are ready for a sketch and then once the design has been established a hand gouche rendering — an old technique with watercolor, bringing to life the design

And a deposit of 50% the total cost of the project is due once you are happy with the design intent

Stone Selection: If your design requires any color stones or center stones this is when the stones will be sourced and selection from a wide range of suppliers as required. If any review is needed on your end we will meet over video or in our studio

Atelier Work: Once all materials have been sourced and the idea is clear, savoir-faire will turn the design into a reality. Every curve is meticulously done, every stone is delicately set and every surface carefully finished

Creation: The wait is over — after a few weeks of work
