Purchasing

Place an order through our online boutique. You can be sure that every piece on the site is authentic and your order details and information is kept private. For custom orders submit a form or send an email to nelly@jewelrybynelly.com. All transactions are secured and encrypted and your information is kept strictly private.
Expect to receive work within 7–15 days after purchasing for US orders and up to 20 days for international orders. Plan accordingly or send a note with any requests. A tracking number will be provided as soon as it becomes available and a signature will be required upon receipt.

For our pieces, the prices reflect the quality — every piece is handcrafted in New York using the finest materials, made from solid gold and all natural gemstones sourced from all over the world. The craft is also the best, never cutting corners to deliver the finest and most precious results. Our gems are never treated and are handpicked by Nelly for their beauty.

For custom pieces we offer flexible pricing based on project type, timing, materials and complexity — after learning more about what you are looking for we'll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs before starting.

Use the item description as a guide — if it's a bracelet, consider whether you would like a tighter or a more loose fit. If you want tighter, size down; if you want looser, size up. If you have questions or would like an opinion on what size to get please send an email and we will advise. If you request a custom size we will also be happy to assist.
If you are not happy with a piece let us know as soon as you get it. If something does not fit we offer adjustments at no extra cost. If you are not happy with a piece we will accept returns for new pieces within 7 days of purchase and store credit for purchases within 30 days.

Bespoke Commissions

If you like Nelly's work and would like to inquire about a commission please submit an inquiry at our Bespoke page or email Nelly@jewelrybynelly.com to set up a free consultation and discuss details. Nelly will discuss project ideas, designs, budget considerations, timeline and other needs. Every project requires at least a 50% payment upfront before starting work after the design phase — this serves as a project commitment and a guarantee.
Just show it to us! This includes engagement rings, necklaces, bracelets and more. Communication is key to delivering the finest work. Every piece is designed and made to stand out — and like any great relationship, this happens with clear communication, ambitious goals and high expectations.
This depends on the scale of the project. The average custom piece requires anywhere from 2–5 weeks from start to completion. Nelly will do her best to accommodate timely requests — however, the sooner you reach out the better.

Care & Materials

18 Karat Gold — yellow, white, and rose — is made from 75% gold and 25% other alloys to give it its signature strength and color. While 24k is pure gold, it lacks the strength a piece made for daily wear requires.

22k Yellow Gold is our custom alloy used to make gold granulation and other one-of-a-kind high karat pieces. This color is rich in appearance and more dense than 18k gold.

Platinum is a durable, grayish and very hefty metal. Its density gives it strength and makes it one of the most difficult metals to work with — however once finished, a piece will hold its shine for much longer. It is a popular choice for engagement rings as its color will not affect a stone's perceived color.

Silver — 99.999% fine silver, while sterling silver is .925 silver mixed with copper for durability.

Store your jewelry carefully in individual spots and avoid having metal or stones clash against each other. This may cause unnecessary stress on gems and may cause stones to become dull or metal to scratch.

Stones have varying hardnesses — for example, pearls have a Mohs hardness of 2.5 while diamond is a perfect 10. As a precaution keep gemstone jewelry (especially color stones like emerald, amethyst, tourmaline, turquoise) separate and avoid contact with diamond jewelry.

Silver is often mixed with copper to create a more durable metal, which makes some silver alloys more prone to tarnishing. To protect your silver jewelry, store it in a dry place away from acids or chemicals when not being worn. If you notice your silver turn black or gray do not worry — use a polishing cloth or a light soap and cloth under running water to remove oxides from the surface, or enjoy the patina as is.
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email Nelly directly at Nelly@jewelrybynelly.com and we will get back to you within a couple of hours.
